In an office setting, your equipment could notify you if a certain department is lacking some supplies already and could order it for you. Basically, the possibilities as they call it are “endless.” On a larger scale, the Internet of Things can also be applied in the areas of transportation, waste management, energy and utilities, logistics and a lot more.
